MACHINE LEARNING
Machine learning is a type of Artificial Intelligent
(AI) that allow the system to learn and improve from experience without being explicitly programmed.
It uses algorithms to analyze large amount of data, identify patterns, and make decisions.
Machine learning can be used to analyze medical images like X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs to identify abnormalities and patterns that may be difficult for humans to see. Machine learning can also be used to automate basic customer service function using chatbots and voice assistance. Machine learning model improve over time as they are trained on more data. The four types of machine learning algorithm are supervised, semi supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement.
Machine learning is already playing an important role in cyber security. Its predective and pattern recognition capabilities make it ideal for addressing several cyber security challenges. It can collect, structure, and organize data.
Machine learning is used in many industries, including healthcare, finance, marketing, and transportation. Some examples of ML applications include image recognition, natural language processing, fraud detection, and recommendational system.
ADVANTAGES OF ( ML)
•One of the most significant benefits of machine
learning is its ability to improve accuracy and precision in various tasks. ML models can
process vast amount of data and identify patterns that might be overlooked by humans.
•ML enables the automation of repetitive and mundane tasks, freeing up human resources for more complex and creative endeavors. In industries
like manufacturing and customer services, ML-driven automation can handle routine tasks such as quality control, data entry, and customer inquiries.
DISADVANTAGES OF (ML)
•ML models require a vast amount of data to train effectively. The quality and diversity of the data significantly impact the model's performance.
Insufficient data can lead to inaccurate predictions and poor decision-making.
•ML models are susceptible to adversarial attacks, where malicious actors manipulate input data to deceive the model into making incorrect predictions. This vulnerability poses significant risks in critical applications such as cyber security and financial fraud detection.
