A Proud Moment for SAFA

SAFA English Medium School proudly celebrates the remarkable achievement of three of its esteemed teachers who were honoured with the Sahodaya Teacher Award at Ursuline Senior Secondary School, Payyambalam. The award recognises their dedication, commitment, and excellence in the field of education. Mrs. Bharathi C D, Mrs. Shahina E M, and Mrs. Bindu T P received this prestigious honour for their outstanding contributions to teaching and their unwavering passion for nurturing young minds. The school community extends its heartfelt congratulations to the awardees and wishes them many more accolades and successes in the years ahead.

Speaker’s Hub: Empowering the Young Voice

SAFA English Medium School organised the June edition of Speaker’s Hub on 23 and 24 June 2026 with the theme “Empowering the Young Voice.” The programme provided students from Classes I to XII with an opportunity to express their thoughts on age-appropriate and thought-provoking topics such as My School, Save Water Save Life, Muharram: A Time for Spiritual Renewal, Climate Change and Our Responsibility, Artificial Intelligence and Education, and The Significance of Muharram: A Month of Reflection. The event encouraged confidence, public speaking skills, and critical thinking among students, making it an enriching and inspiring learning experience.

Reading Week Celebration: Nurturing a Culture of Reading

SAFA English Medium School celebrated Reading Week from 19th to 25th June 2026 with great enthusiasm to foster a love for books and lifelong learning among students. A variety of engaging activities, including Reading Pledge, Book Cover Redesign, Read Aloud Challenge, Literary Quiz, Newspaper Reading Corner, Library Treasure, Picture Talk, Debate, Wall Magazine, and Learning Carnival, were organised throughout the week. Inspired by the message that a nation grows stronger through educated and enlightened citizens, the celebration encouraged students to develop reading habits, creativity, and critical thinking skills under the motto, “Read Today, Lead Tomorrow.”

Reading Day Book Contribution


As part of the Reading Week Celebration (19th–25th June), students of SAFA English Medium School generously contributed books to enrich the school library. The initiative aimed to foster a love for reading, encourage the habit of sharing knowledge, and strengthen the culture of learning among students. The programme was a meaningful step towards promoting the message, “Read Today, Lead Tomorrow.” 📚✨

School Parliament Election 2026–27

The School Parliament Election for the academic year 2026–27 was held on 29 June 2026 (Monday) at SAFA English Medium School. Students enthusiastically participated in the democratic process by contesting and voting for various leadership positions, including Head Boy, Head Girl, General Captain, Fine Arts Secretary, Student Editor, and other posts. The election witnessed an impressive turnout, reflecting the students' dedication, responsibility, and commitment to leadership and teamwork. The event successfully promoted democratic values and active student participation in school governance. 🗳️✨






SAFA English Medium School proudly achieved 100% pass results in the Class X Board Examination. The outstanding performance reflects the hard work, dedication, and perseverance of the students, along with the continuous support and guidance of the teachers and parents. The school management congratulated all the successful students and appreciated the collective efforts that led to this remarkable achievement. This accomplishment has brought great pride and joy to the entire school community. 🎉📚🏆

Muharram Greetings

The Smile Club of SAFA English Medium School, Mattool, celebrated Muharram by distributing greeting cards and chocolates to students, spreading the message of hope, peace, and new beginnings. 🌙✨🍫
