Students of Class 7D at SAFA English Medium School released a beautifully crafted 15th issue of handwritten magazine “Madhuram Malayalam." Created under the guidance of their class teacher, this magazine stands as a heartfelt tribute to the richness, rhythm, and emotional depth of our mother tongue.

This magazine is more than an academic exercise—it’s a quiet celebration of identity, culture, and the emotional ties we hold with our native tongue. Madhuram Malayalam reminds us that the language we speak is also the language we feel, and preserving it begins with owning it—letter by letter.

Kannur District CBSE Sahodaya Kalotsav Triumphs!*

At the Kannur District CBSE Sahodaya Kalotsav's Offstage Competition, SAFA English Medium School students showcased remarkable talent. Riza Bappinte Valappil of 12A secured the 3rd prize with an A Grade in Versification English under Category 4. In another highlight, Mohammad Sahl Ashkar of 12A won 3rd place in Story Writing in Malayalam Verification Hindi. Adding to the list of achievers, Mohammad Shamil of 10D also bagged the 3rd prize. Alongside these winners, many other students from SAFA English Medium School earned A grades in various categories, reflecting the school's vibrant academic and extracurricular prowess. Congratulations to all the winners and A grade recipients on their stellar performances! 🎉

SAFA English Medium School Kicks Off Intramural Volleyball Tournament!

SAFA English Medium School in Manshau Nagar, Mattol North, Kannur, Kerala, is gearing up for an exciting intramural volleyball tournament. The event, inaugurated by Mr. VPK Salam, will feature competitions in two categories: U/19 and U/17. The U/19 category matches begin on Monday, October 6th, 2025, at 4:00 pm, followed by the U/17 category on Tuesday, October 7th, 2025, also at 4:00 pm. The tournament is part of the school's efforts to promote sportsmanship and teamwork among students. With SAFA English Medium School running under the auspices of Manshau Thazkiyathi Ssunniya since 1993, this event promises to showcase the volleyball talent of the school's young athletes. 🏐

ഒരു ചെറിയ ഗ്രാമത്തിൽ ആനു എന്ന ബാലിക താമസിച്ചിരുന്നു. അവൾ എപ്പോഴും പ്രകൃതിയെ സ്നേഹിച്ചിരുന്നു. ഒരിക്കൽ, അവൾ വയലിലൂടെ നടക്കുമ്പോൾ പറവയുടെ കൂട് നിലത്തു വീണത് കണ്ടു. അതിൽ, കുഞ്ഞി പക്ഷികൾ ഭീതിയോടെ കരയുന്നുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അനു അതിനെ എടുത്ത് മരത്തിൽ തിരികെ വച്ചു. കുറച്ച് ദിവസങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ശേഷം ആ പറവകള്‍ പറക്കാന്‍ തുടങ്ങി.

ഒരു ദിവസം, അനു വഴി തെറ്റി കാട്ടില്‍ കുടുങ്ങി. അവളുടെ കരച്ചില്‍ കേട്ട് പറവകള്‍ പറന്നു വന്നു, അവളെ അവളുടെ ഗ്രാമത്തിലേക്കുള്ള വഴി കാണിച്ചു കൊടുത്തു. അവൾ മനസ്സിലാക്കി- മനുഷ്യര്‍ക്ക് മാത്രമല്ല, പക്ഷികൾക്കും മറ്റു ജീവജാലങ്ങൾക്കും നന്ദിയുണ്ടാകും.

The Wise Old Tree

Once upon a time, in a small village, there stood a big, old tree. Children loved to play under it, climb its branches, and rest in its shade. The tree provided them with fruits, fresh air, and happiness. As the years passed, the children grew up and became busy with their lives. They forgot about the tree. One day, an old man came and sat under it. He whispered, "You were my best friend when I was young." The tree smiled with its rustling leaves and replied, "I am still here for you." The old man closed his eyes, feeling peace in his heart. He realized that true friends, like the old tree, never leave us; they wait patiently with love.

The moral is: True friendship and kindness last forever.
