The Letters We Forgot: World Postal Day at S.E.M.S
On 9th October 2025, Safa English Medium School quietly stepped back into a world we often forget — a world where words took their time to travel, and meaning wasn’t lost in speed.
World Post Day wasn’t just a date on the calendar. It became a small moment to reflect, reconnect, and remember the beauty of handwritten words. Students explored what letters once meant — through visits to the post office, message writing, card making, blog writing, and stamp designing.
Some wrote letters they’d never thought they’d write. Some designed stamps that told their own quiet stories. And in every corner, there was a sense of stillness — like everyone had stopped scrolling and started feeling.
The post office visit opened eyes to an unseen world of care and precision. But more than that, it reminded everyone how simple acts — like sending a letter — used to carry weight, emotion, and a kind of love that didn’t need emojis.
As the day came to an end, what stayed wasn’t just paper and ink — but the feeling that some connections are worth slowing down for.
Because even in a fast world, something about a letter still lingers.

IT IS NEVER TOO LATE!
This is a reminder that you can always start fresh. What you did yesterday, last week, last month, or last year does not define who you are. Every moment offers a new opportunity to become a better version of yourself. So, whatever wrongs you felt you committed or mistakes you've made that your mind keeps replaying and causing you pain, do not determine the rest of your life. It’s never too late to make new choices, change your outlook, try harder, take a risk, or find happiness. Stop dwelling on what was lost. Be thankful that you have the chance to learn from your experiences and apply that wisdom to each new moment.

My Memorable Zeeque Camp
Last year our Zeeque school organized a two-day camp (Playtopia) and, it was an unforgettable experience. We start each day with Fajr prayer followed by Quran recitation. Our teachers guide us through discussions on the importance of empathy kindness, and teamwork in Islam. They also shared inspiring stories of the prophets and Sahaba which motivated us to become better Muslims. We participated in various activities sports and arts. The best part of the camp was spending time with my friends and teachers. We laughed, sang songs, told jokes, sang nasheed, and had fun-filled games. It was a special time for bonding and spiritual growth. We can create lifelong memories with our friends and teachers.
NOW I REALLY MISS MY ZEEQUE FAMILY

KINDNESS
I can choose to be kind.
Each and every day.
I can choose to be kind.
To everyone in every way.
When I am kind to others.
I make the world a little brighter.
When I am kind to others.
I make my heart a little lighter.
So plant a seed of kindness.
And watch the world bloom.
So plant a seed of kindness.
And we'll chase away the gloom.
