Basheer Day – July 5

On 5 July 2026, SAFA English Medium School observed Basheer Day to commemorate the life and literary contributions of Vaikom Muhammad Basheer. Students remembered his timeless works through inspiring activities, fostering a love for Malayalam literature, creativity, and the values of simplicity, humanity, and compassion among young learners.

Basheer Day Magazine Release – July 5

As part of Basheer Day celebrations on 5 July 2026, the 4E class released a special magazine featuring students' writings, drawings, poems, and creative works inspired by Vaikom Muhammad Basheer. The initiative encouraged literary expression, imagination, and appreciation for Malayalam language and culture among students.

School-Level General Knowledge Quiz – July 7

On 7 July 2026, SAFA English Medium School organized a School-Level General Knowledge Quiz for students of Grades 5–12. Participants enthusiastically showcased their knowledge, critical thinking, and quick decision-making skills. The competition promoted curiosity, confidence, healthy competition, and awareness of current affairs and general knowledge.

Maths Quiz Final Round – July 8

On 8 July 2026, the Maths Quiz Final Round for Classes 8, 9, and 10 was conducted at SAFA English Medium School. Finalists demonstrated exceptional mathematical reasoning, speed, and problem-solving abilities. The competition inspired students to strengthen analytical thinking while competing in a challenging yet encouraging academic environment.

Science Quiz – July 8

On 8 July 2026, SAFA English Medium School conducted a Science Quiz for students from Classes 6 to 12. The event encouraged scientific curiosity, logical thinking, and teamwork. Participants confidently answered questions from various science disciplines, making the competition an engaging and enriching learning experience for everyone.

The IT Quiz for students of Classes 8 to 10 was conducted on 9 July 2026 at 10:00 a.m. in the Conference Hall. The competition aimed to enhance students’ knowledge of information technology, digital awareness, and current technological developments. Participants enthusiastically answered a variety of challenging questions, making the event both educational and engaging.

Maths Olympiad – July 9

On 9 July 2026, SAFA English Medium School hosted a Maths Olympiad for Classes 11 and 12. Students competed in solving challenging mathematical problems that tested their logical reasoning and analytical skills. The event motivated participants to enhance their mathematical abilities and strive for academic excellence.

Cervical Cancer Awareness Class

A Cervical Cancer Awareness Class was organized at SAFA English Medium School to educate participants about the importance of prevention, early detection, vaccination, and regular screening. The informative session highlighted healthy lifestyle practices and encouraged greater awareness, helping participants understand the significance of protecting women's health through timely medical care.

Good morning everyone,

Today, I want to talk about a topic is Artificial Intelligence and Education.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a technology that enables computers to learn, think and solve problems. In education, AI helps students learn more effectively through personalized lessons, educational apps and online learning platforms.

AI can answer questions, provide instant feedback and help teachers create learning materials. It makes learning easier, faster and more interesting for students. However, AI should be used wisely. Students must continue to think creatively and not depend completely on technology.

AI is transforming education and helping create better learning opportunities for everyone.
