Thread of Gold and Steel

Not just the kinship that the blood bestows,
But shared resilience in the way life flows.
A silent language born of knowing stares,
A tapestry woven of joy and shared cares.
The thread of gold is found in sunlit days,
In whispered secrets and the carefree haze.
We loan each other courage, fierce and bright,
And illuminate the shadows of the night.
The thread of steel is when the world turns cold,
The stubborn hands that help a spirit hold.
A sister's love is built on common ground,
Where safety and acceptance can be found.
She is the mirror that reflects your best,
And holds your true self safe within her chest.
A bond unbreakable, through change and time,
A steady rhythm in a life's vast rhyme.

LET ME TELL YOU

Let me tell you, a bond that's strong,
Friendship's roots, that last all long.
Through ups and downs, stand as one,
A tie that binds, under the same sun.

Sharing souls, sharing hearts,
In this journey, we play our parts.
Support and trust, a perfect blend,
Let me tell you, the friendship that never ends.
