SUCCESS FROM YOU

The turmoil in mind
The winds portend
Won't fade with
Just a glimmer’s tint

The sky is at high
So why not fly?
Or will you worry,
And you finally cry?

If you fly high,
You reach the sky
Clap from the crowd,
You become proud.

If you're gonna worry
You'll start to hurry
You’ll reach a place
You’d rather not face

No other motivator
Stronger than you
Start the generator
Success is from you.

My dream

My dream is a vision, a goal in sight,
A future I'm working towards, with all my might.
It's a picture of success, of happiness too,
A life that's fulfilling, with dreams come true.

With every step, I move closer to my goal,
My dream is guiding me, it makes me whole.
It's a source of inspiration, a light in the dark,
A reminder of what I'm working for, a spark.

My dream is my passion, my fire and flame,
It's what drives me, it's what makes me claim,
My place in the world, my voice, my name,
A dream that's mine, a life that's not trained

SILENT MOON

The moon climbs high in the dark sky.
It glows soft like a quiet sigh.
Stars blink beside its glowing light.
It watches over us each night.

Waves rise and fall at its command.
Its silver touch spreads over land.
Owls call and shadows gently grow.
The world moves calm, quiet, and slow.

The moon keeps secrets never told.
It sees young dreams and stories old.
It shines with peace that feels so near.
A glowing friend we hold so dear

Review of  The Diary of a Young Girl  by Anne Frank

There are books that teach you. There are books that stay with you.
And then, there are some such as The Diary of a Young Girl that change your perspective about the world.

I did not expect to encounter someone so… human the first time I opened the diary of Anne Frank.

She wasn't some historical figure in the distance—she was a 13-year-old girl with messy emotions, silly aspirations, quiet fears, and boisterous hopes.
Trapped within four walls, Anne wrote of the world with a precision most of us overlook even in liberty.

Speaking of Anne Frank, she was a 13 year old Jewish girl hiding from the nazis during WW2. She lived in that secret annexe with her family for 2 years. During this time she started to write her diary and called it a friend, Kitty. She poured her heart into it because it is the only way she could let out her emotions.

She yearned for love.
She ached for fresh air.
She felt misinterpreted.
And in her words, I discovered pieces myself.

She didn't write so she'd be famous.
She wrote so she could stay sane.
Feel seen.

What moved me most wasn't the horrific nature of the war—it was the gentleness in her mind. The way she insisted on believing human beings were good at heart.Even when the world around her told her otherwise.

Anne died.
Her words, though, lived on.
And perhaps that is the ultimate strength of her diary—it transmutes pain into legacy.
Fear into strength.
And silence into a voice that continues to be heard.

To read Anne's diary is to recall what it is to be human.
To love, to weep, to flourish.
Even in concealment.
Even in terror.

And long after I read the final page, Anne remained with me.
Not only as a historical figure,
but as a friend—who reminds me on a daily basis
that words can outlast darkness.

Her diary will make us grateful to everything we have. It is a must read to teenagers like us.

Happiness

In the most random
of places,
we can find happiness.
The arms of someone
we love,
the presence of no one
but ourselves
or perhaps the places
in which we lay our
heads to rest.
If we constantly
wait for others
to give it to us,
we'll be waiting
for forever,
so why wait?
Go out and take what's yours.
Be who you want to be,
do what you want to do,
and believe in what
you want to believe.
Life is too short to waste.
So go and start yours.
It's never too late.
