Madhuram Malayalam (Issue 13)

Students of Class 7C at SAFA English Medium School released a beautifully crafted 12th issue of handwritten magazine “Madhuram Malayalam." Created under the guidance of their class teacher, this magazine stands as a heartfelt tribute to the richness, rhythm, and emotional depth of our mother tongue.

This magazine is more than an academic exercise—it’s a quiet celebration of identity, culture, and the emotional ties we hold with our native tongue. Madhuram Malayalam reminds us that the language we speak is also the language we feel, and preserving it begins with owning it—letter by letter.

Empowering the young voices–Speaker's Hub September

The September edition of *Speaker’s Hub* at Safa English Medium School is set to take place on September 26 & 27, focusing on the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. With topics tailored to each grade—from Meelad Day celebrations to reflections on prophethood—students from Classes 1 to 12 will take the stage to express their thoughts and deepen their understanding. This event aims to enhance students’ public speaking skills while nurturing spiritual awareness and moral values. *Speaker’s Hub* continues to empower the young voice with confidence, clarity, and purpose.

IAME Artorium'25

Safa English Medium School shone brightly at the IAME Artorium 2025, bagging several prestigious awards. The school's outstanding performance earned them the overall 1st runner-up position. Here's a breakdown of their achievements ¹:

The unnoticed

Aryan was a boy whom most people overlooked. He was a quiet person who sat in the last row, always with his nose buried in a comic book. In a class full of talkative students and sports stars, he was the unnoticed kid.

One rainy afternoon, the school's electricity went out. Everyone stayed in their rooms. Suddenly, a loud meow was heard by everyone. A cat had gotten stuck under a shelf. While others hesitated, Aryan jumped up and rushed to the scene, crawling under the shelf despite the rainwater soaking his clothes. He gently pulled out the frightened kitten.

A few classmates watched in surprise, not expecting the quiet boy to act so quickly. By the time the lights came back on, Aryan was back in his seat, reading again, though now with a tiny wet kitten purring in his lap.

The next day, the school newsletter featured a photo of Aryan, smiling shyly and holding the kitten. The headline read, "Last Page Hero Saves the Day." From then on, Aryan sat in the last row, but he wasn't overlooked; he was seen.
