Madhuram Malayalam (Issue 12) — A Handwritten Tribute to Our Mother Tongue

Students of Class 6E at SAFA English Medium School released a beautifully crafted 12th issue of  handwritten magazine “Madhuram Malayalam." Created under the guidance of their class teacher, this magazine stands as a heartfelt tribute to the richness, rhythm, and emotional depth of our mother tongue.

This magazine is more than an academic exercise—it’s a quiet celebration of identity, culture, and the emotional ties we hold with our native tongue. Madhuram Malayalam reminds us that the language we speak is also the language we feel, and preserving it begins with owning it—letter by letter.

Safa School Celebrates Milad-Un-Nabi

Safa English Medium School, a senior secondary institution in Manshau Nagar, Mattol North, Kannur, Kerala, India, celebrated Milad-Un-Nabi, the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The occasion was marked with a message emphasizing the Prophet's teachings of kindness, justice, and compassion. The school, run by Manshau Thazkiyathi Ssunniya since 1993, highlighted the importance of these values on this blessed day of Nabidinam. The celebration was symbolized by an illustration of a mosque with hanging lanterns, crescents, and stars against a dark blue background, reflecting the festive yet solemn spirit of the occasion.

Petals meet Wisdom

On 5th September, we marked a beautiful coincidence—  the joy of Onam and the gratitude of Teachers’ Day falling together.  A day that celebrated both harvest and knowledge, tradition and guidance.  May the spirit of learning and prosperity continue to bloom in our hearts.  Belated wishes to all!

The Gift of Sun

At dawn it creeps with tender glow,

A hush of warmth the breezes know.

It paints the sky with strokes of gold,

A timeless story, bright and bold.

Through morning mists it softly weaves,

Between the branches, past the leaves.

Each blade of grass begins to gleam,

Awakened gently from its dream.

Upon the fields it lays its hand,

And scatters jewels across the land.

The rivers sparkle, mountains shine,

As day proclaims its grand design.

By noon it reigns, a fiery crown,

Pouring its brilliance downward, down.

It fuels the earth, the seed, the tree,

A glowing hymn of life set free.

And when the evening shadows grow,

It lingers still, a fading show.

A promise kept, both near and far,

Tomorrow waits beneath a starlight

The Endless Wonders of Space

Space is an infinite and mysterious realm that stretches far beyond what the human eye can see. For centuries, people have gazed at the night sky, wondering about the stars, planets, and galaxies shining above. With the help of powerful telescopes and advanced space missions, scientists have begun to unlock some of these secrets. They have discovered black holes, distant galaxies, and exoplanets that may one day reveal signs of life. Space exploration has also led to new technologies that benefit us on Earth, from satellite communication to weather forecasting. Yet, despite all we know, space remains largely unexplored, holding countless mysteries waiting to be discovered. The study of space not only expands our scientific knowledge but also fuels human curiosity and imagination, reminding us how small we are in the vast universe.

Almost Real

you hold the flame, but feel no heat
a borrowed light that cant compete
the smile u wear , but not yours
fading away when left alone

dreams so close, yet too far to reach
like waves that vanishes from the beach
you grasp the stars, but miss the sky
some truths we touch , but can't live by
