DEATH
A whisper in the wind, a fleeting sigh,
A gentle touch, a tear that slips and dries.
A spark that flickers, then fades from sight,
A journey into darkness, endless night.
A tapestry of life, woven with care,
A fragile thread, easily torn and frayed.
A fleeting moment, a precious art,
A universe within, a beating heart.
And when the curtain falls, the final scene,
A peaceful slumber, a timeless dream.
A release from pain, a sweet relief,
A journey's end, a new belief.
-Muhammed Abdul Rasheed(10B)
THE STORY OF LILLY
Once upon a time, there was a girl named Lilly. She was a poor girl. She had a friend and her name was Rossy. Her father was a big businessman. But Lilly's father was a farmer. He worked hard without any rest. One day Lilly went to Rossy's house and at that time Rossy's father was there. Lilly was garrulous about her father's hard work. Rossy's father's eyes filled with tears and her father said okay, it's behind time and Lilly went to her house. She ate porridge and slept. She woke up early, brushed her teeth, and completed her morning routine. She helped her father in the fields. At night 8:00 her father returned home. After a few minutes, Rossy's father came with new dresses for Lilly, her father, and her mother, and also a lot of food items and 50 thousand money for her father. That time Lilly's father asked him why he gave these things to them. Rossy's father replied it's okay, and he asked our daughters are friends and why don't we also be friends. Lilly's father said that it was correct, and thanked him for the items that he had given. Rossy’s father declared that there was no difference between rich and poor, and it was his happiness to help them. Moral: True friendship knows no boundaries of wealth.

REACHING FOR THE SKY
In a world of endless sky,
A butterfly with broken wings
Fights to touch the heights she dreams,
Where golden sunlight softly shines.
She once took off with grace and pride,
But now, with wounds and hopes denied,
Her tender heart continued to strive,
To find the strength to still survive.
Though winds may whisper, cruel and cold,
Her spirit, fierce and bold, unfolds,
And with each trembling, brave try,
She rises, reaching for the sky.

ECHOES IN THE SOUL
In the quiet down,
when shadows softly fade,
A whisper stirs the heart,
where silent truths are laid.
It's not grand achievements,
nor accolades displayed,
But in the quiet inner voice that
sings of worth portrayed.
Stand tall upon your journey
with eyes that see the light,
for within the mirrored depths,
your strength emerges bright.
Past errors may still linger,
like echoes in the breeze,
But they do not shape your essence,
nor the future you’ll seize:
Honor comes from knowing,
deep within your core,
That self respects a beacon,
opening each closed door.
Embrace your Imperfections,
let each lesson gently mold,
For self-respect is freedom,
a story to be told
Walk with grace and courage,
let your spirit freely roam,
In the realm of self-respect,
you built a lasting home.
For each step taken proudly,
each truth you dare to face,
Turns the soul's quiet echoes
into a life of grace.
