Trust: A treasure untold

Trust is a seed planted deep in the soul,
It grows through the seasons, making us whole.
Watered with care, nurtured with time,
It strengthens the bond, a rhythm, a rhyme.

Yet fragile it is, like the wings of a dove,
It thrives on sincerity, honesty, love.
One careless word, one thoughtless deed,
And trust may falter, begin to recede.

But in its return, when nurtured anew,
It flourishes stronger, steadfast and true.
For trust is a treasure, fragile yet bold,
A bond between hearts more precious than gold.

Dreams

Hold fast to dreams
For if dreams die
Life is broken-winged bird
That cannot fly.

Hold fast to dreams
For when dreams go
Life is a barren field
Frozen with snow.

Never look back

I was alarmed
By my own thoughts.
Stuck in a phase
and I couldn’t
Move on.

I looked back to my past
filled with grief,
of all the decisions
I’ve made was nothing
But worthless.

Yet then I realised
Looking back was
not an option
But fighting it was
So I fought it!

Pollution: A human concern?

‘Ughhh it’s too damn hot nowadays’ says the one sitting in a private vehicle with an air conditioner blasting on maximum speed. Nope they can’t use the public transport, they can’t stop littering, they can’t plant more trees nor they can’t stop destroying the existing vegetation. Everyone wants the environment to heal by itself, they aren’t even concerned by their ill activities. “Be the person to initiate the activity, be the leader to lead the activity”. Nothing in the environment comes free, either we pay with the disastrous consequences upcoming or pay with hurting the environment itself. You can’t be sitting there expecting the world to heal on its own, you gotta support it atleast with physical labour or mentally uplifting nature. Plant more trees. Avoid littering. Make sure that there’s a specific area for proper waste disposal. Run campaigns, spreading awareness of the environmental issues. Use public transportation. Go green buy cycles and electric vehicles. And most importantly be a role model for the upcoming generations. Show them the best way to link in with nature. We ourselves should be taking the initiative to show the best route to environmental sustainability.
